3D Building
Scans
If you own, manage or lease a building, you may find it beneficial to get a 3D scan of your building. The construction industry is about to see some exciting developments, with various technologies becoming available to enable more efficient construction techniques and integrated workflows. At the heart of this is Building Information Modelling (BIM), which involves creating and managing digital representations of the built environment.
Hampton Jones is offering services in these fields and added 3D building scanning to their toolkit. This addition provides greater value to our existing client services and offers new opportunities as well.
Apart from creating high definition 3D, 360-degree walk-through imagery (similar to Google Street View), the 3D building scans can also be translated into point cloud data, which can be converted into 3D BIM models, floor plans and elevations.

- Embed text descriptions, video, audio, photos and links
- Gather detailed photographic records for use in legal cases
